Cora Voce

Mr. Spitzer, a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University (Tacoma, WA), began his career as a music educator. While teaching in the public schools, he served for a time as Vice President of Washington Music Educators Association. Mr. Spitzer currently serves as the Artistic and Executive Director of Cora Voce based in Tacoma, WA. He lives in Port Orchard, Washington with his wife; they have two adult children and five grandchildren.

Our first CD, Music That Speaks to the Soul – Volume 1, available with our Season Pass packages, will also be for sale at this years fund raising dinner.

Cora Voce (Chorus of Voices) was founded in 2003. While many of our members sang in the Choir of the West at Pacific Lutheran University; others sang in equally fine college choirs. Most of our members have sung or are currently performing with other high-quality choral, operatic, orchestral, or musical theater organizations.

September 24, 2011: Teatro Cora Voce - Dinner, Show & Auction
This, our second annual fund raising event, will feature "The Music of Gershwin", a silent auction and dinner catered by Scooters Custom Catering. Tickets for this event will go on sale at the end of June. The event will be held at First Lutheran Church 524 S. 'I' Street, Tacoma, WA.
Music That Speaks to the Soul - Volume 1: Cora Voce's first CD
The generosity and support by donors and sponsors at last years Teatro Cora Voce event made it possible for us to produce our first CD and increase our youth music scholarship program. The CD is available with our Season Pass packages and will be available for purchase at this year's fundraising dinner.
